Sept./Oct. Woman in the Spotlight


Our woman in the spotlight has been in ministry for years, she is committed to marriage and family counseling. She also counsels at risk youths. She is the wife of a pastor and mother to two impressonable daughters. She is a native of Philadelphia who recently transfered to Hawii along with her husband who is also a serviceman.

Her name is Cherita Jones. Evangelist Jones admits that balancing Motherhood and Ministry has been an experience but she keeps going daily by the grace of God and from drawing inspiration from such strong women as, Rosa Parks and Corretta Scott King to name a few. She draws strength from her Faith in God knowing that greater is HE that is in her than he that is in the world. Cherita and her husband have future plans in expanding the ministry they share together as husband and wife, but right now she is committed to raising their two daughters and serving as the Lord leads. Deborah Dudley is our October Woman in the Spotlight

This months woman in the spotlight is a Kingdom Builder. She is a wife, mother, grandmother, and a minister of the Gospel. She is a mother to many that God has seen fit to bring into her life who bless her in ways, she quotes, too numerous to name. Her name is Deborah Dudley and she is the Founder and Hostess of the TV Ministry Gospel Gems Inc. Deborah uses her ministry to reach others minus the walls of a church building. God uses her to encourage, motivate, inspire, and stir up the gift that is in His people. She is truly a mom working for the Kingdom. Nancy Twigg is our woman in the Spotlight for September


This months woman in the spotlight has a true passion for seeing women set free from the clutter that keeps them from being the women God intended them to be. For over a decade, she has been a student of simplicity—learning to declutter her own life and helping others to do the same. Through her speaking and writing, she fulfils her dream of inspiring women to give God the best they have to offer. She is the the Editor of Counting the Cost, a newsletter and website dedicated to simple and abundant living. Her Name is Nancy Twigg. Nancy is no stranger to Woman2Woman she has been submitting attention grabbing articles to us for the past few months. She is also the author of three books, From Clutter to Clarity: Simplifying Life from the Inside Out; Celebrate Simply: Your Guide to Simpler, More Meaningful Holidays and Special Occasions; and A Month of Mites: 31 Devotionals on Simple Christian Living. Jessie Green is our woman in the spotlight

This weeks woman in the spotlight is a true miracle walking. She is a mother of two from Florida. In 1997 She was in a near fatal car accident and the doctors gave her a 1% chance of survival. She said God didn’t give up on her because he wasn’t through with her yet.



Her name is Jessie Greene and she considers herself a LIVING TESTIMONY. Although her near fatal accident was 11 years ago Jessie feels its time to tell her story and I am glad she agreed to share her testimony here with us at the Woman2Woman Lounge. I was so excited and truly looking forward to conducting this interview because I wanted those who come through and read the interviews on our website to read hers and see for themselves what God is doing in the lives of others. He is still in the miracle working business and remains full of wonder working power. I thank God for Jessie Greene and that she is still with us and able to share her story. I pray it will give others hope, increased faith, and show us the continued Mercy, Grace, and Love the Father bestows upon us.

Stephanie L. Jones is our woman in the spotlight this week

April 2008




Our woman in the spotlight this week is a native of Detroit, Michigan. She is a freelance publicist, an author, and an advocate. She is a highly sought-after speaker for organizations, churches, and schools. Her ministry is a ministry of healing. She is an advocate for individuals suffering from the effects of child sexual abuse. Her name is Stephanie L. Jones and she is the author of the book
“The Enemy Between My Legs”.


In her book Stephanie shares her story with the world on how she was able to overcome the effects of over seven years of child sexual abuse, which began at age five. Being a victim herself she has the ability to understand and connect with other abuse victims, especially teenagers and young adults. Her book will set victims of sexual abuse free. It will help them deal with the hurt of their past and bring about healing. We had the honor of interviewing Ms. Jones recently, here is what she had to say.

March Woman in the Spotlight


Our woman in the spotlight is a mother and grandmother from New Orleans, LA presently living in Jonesboro, GA. She has been enjoying her life since she retired from her Job in January. She is also the author of the book, Special Creation " A Psalmody of Encouragement. Her name is Irma White.



In 1991 Irma had a life-changing experience that set her on the path she believes God ordained for her before the foundation of the earth. Although she grew up hearing about Jesus, she did not know Him nor the vital necessity of reading and meditating on the Holy Scriptures. Until that experience Irma says she lived a very mediocre life and didn’t know how to change it. But, after reading one scripture verse in a devotional, her life began to change. She grew thirsty for the things of God and began to seek out God’s truths in His Word. She discovered that there are certain rights and privileges that belong to a child of God. She embraced those biblical principles and began to trust God with her life.

February 6th's woman in the spotlight is a wife, mother, and Entrepreneur. She is a native of Detroit, Michigan and operates her own candle business. Her name is Tawana Williams. Tawana has been in business for three years selling inspirational candles. Her candles are designed with you in mind. She can create any kind of candle for her customers. She offers all kinds of scented gel candles or wax candles and also offers non-scented ones as well. Anything from Apple to Strawberry.

She has a strong entrepreneurial spirit that has led her to more fulfilling roles as a Motivational Speaker, Trainer and Certified Biblical Coach. Her name is Regina Baker and she has a strong passion for online and offline networking in the Christian Business Community. She is the co-founder of WAHMcart.

Anna Campbell was our woman in the spotlight the week of January 30, 2008. She is a wife and mother who is passionate about people. Her love for bringing people together fit in perfectly when it came to forming WBO back in February of 2004. Her name is Anna Campbell and she is the President and Founder for Women Business Owners. Anna loves to share, educate, support, and learn from other women. WBO provides education and support for all women business owners.

Our Interview with LaTara Ham-Ying

Our women in the spotlight at the Woman2Woman Lounge for the 16th of January is a wife and mother who is dedicated to teaching and sharing about natural health, veganism, and ways to have a more proactive lifestyle. With Vegan Family Living, Natural From Home, and her ministry Abundantly Designed she is able to do just that. Her name is LaTara Ham-Ying.LaTara and her husband Rupert are a team with a desire and goal to get, stay healthy, and to teach others the same. On occasion they are asked to cater for vegan events and to show others how to cook meals they themselves prepare. LaTara also creates body recipes, tinctures, and other healthy items. Her mission is to help other families be healthy and happy!

Our Interview with Corrie Petersen


10/17/07...This weeks interview is about a wife and mother of two. She has several home based businesses. One of them she runs along with her husband, together they make Disciple's Crosses. The name of their business is Heavenly Crosses and this woman‘s name is Corrie Petersen.

These beautiful Crosses are hand crafted and are put on a small leather cord and come in many colors. These crosses are a great reminder and teaching tool of the sacrifice of Jesus. You can show your own conviction of the Christian Way, and give the gift of one of these crosses to others and allow them to say the same. Corrie is also a Virtual Assistant and has a business in advertising. Her goal and dream is to one day be a WAHM.

Our interview with Cynthia Boyer


10/10/07.... Moms Working for the Kingdom had another Woman2Woman interview, this time with the founder of Moms in slippers. The woman of God that Moms Working for the Kingdom has had the pleasure to interview this week is a wife, mother of 4, a writer, a graphic designer, and also my friend. After working for 13 consecutive years in corporate America and then being laid off she was inspired to go into business for herself. God had blessed her abundantly with typing and computer skills so she knew she was capable of running her own business. Her name is Cynthia G. Boyer and she is the founder of Moms in Slippers. Her goal is to help other women who also want to be WAHMS start their own secretarial business.

Our Interview with Pastor Rebecca Simmons


9/26/07....Moms Working for the Kingdom has had another extraordinary Woman2Woman interview, this time with Christian Women of Power, network leader, Rebecca Simmons. This wife and mother of four serves as co-pastor with her husband, Minister Anthony Simmons, who is Pastor of New Creation Christian Ministries in Elizabeth, NJ. Rebecca is also a Certified Christian Counselor.

The Lord uses her to write novels and inspirational books that provoke readers to examine their hearts, their lives, and their relationships with God. She is the author of two compelling novels, Nobody’s Business and Daddy Love, and an inspirational book, The Cry of a Woman’s Heart, Healing the Pain of the Past, Traveling the Road to Victorious Living. Her new book, Pump Up The Power -- Get The Life You Want .
